Foxy & Fierce Workouts Are For Everyone!

You don’t have to be a martial artist to tap into the body toning, confidence building benefits of fitness training combined with basic Muay Thai kicking and punching techniques.

  After almost 12 years, I am STILL coming regularly to Foxy and Fierce. That alone speaks volumes to how highly I feel about this studio, as well as Crystal and Rashad. I will spend 45-60 minutes in traffic to get here for the amazing workouts and camaraderie of the women who attend.

One thing to note is that during the Pandemic when all gyms were closed, Crystal and Rashad pivoted to live Zoom classes daily, and provided time for us all to chat to still get our socialization in. Also, there are now online classes that you can stream from anywhere, anytime-- you can get your workout in while traveling for work or on vacation.

The workouts have changed a bit through the years, and are still stellar. They focus on weight training for the first half of class during the weekdays, which is something that we all need. Kickboxing is still number one at the studio, which is why I came here in the first place. All workouts really focus on your whole body, and the training is still different enough so that you are challenged. And if you need to modify an exercise, Crystal and Rashad will always have a suggestion for what works best for you so that you do not injure yourself.

Even in a full class, you will still get personalized attention to hone in on your technique.

I am sure as another ten years pass, I will still be coming here.

  I have been coming to Foxy for over 5 years and I love it more than ever. The workouts and community have been integral to maintaining my physical and mental health. It's my favorite part of the week!

  Wanted to leave a review for Rashad and Crystal because they have quite literally changed my entire life this year.

I attended my first beginner's class in December 2023 (it's now August 2024 when I'm writing this review), and I was probably in the worst shape of my life when I began. I blame Covid/changing to a WFH job/30's metabolism changes blah blah blah, but whatever. I was happy to keep blaming my excuses. And I was so nervous to take a class and move my body in front of other people... I had literally never taken an exercise class of any kind before.

But when I say that first class was the most welcoming, encouraging, fun, and yes-HARD-experience I've ever had... I mean it. It was the perfect balance of everything I needed to get me to come back. I've never enjoyed exercising, it's always been something I dread. But Rashad and Crystal know what they're doing, and they genuinely want to help you feel stronger in your body. I never feel uncomfortable or self-conscious in any way in their classes, only encouraged and motivated. I've now lost 23 pounds (!) in the past 8 months (also with the help of a calorie deficit I started 3 months ago), and I feel actual muscle and strength that I've never felt before in my life, even at my "thinnest."

I'm now straight up addicted to these classes. I will only miss one if life requires me to, and I feel genuinely upset when I do! They have been such a game changer for my mental health, too. Whatever your goals are -- weight loss, cardio and strengthening , stress release, or just a killer workout with an amazing community -- you'll find it here. I feel so blessed to have found them.
